London Fashion Week 2013

Well Its Back and its back with a bang! This time round London fashion week has some amazing collections especially Topshop Unique Collection where the nineties have been coming on strong for a while now, and nowhere is more demanding than the high street.

The show began with the favourite cover ups - the donkey jackets which came not only in traditional black with leather panels but with the close cut shearling inserts.

Also we saw the era’s influence in the oversized like many of collections we have seen so far this season it has fed our appetite for texture and loads of it. Glossy scarlet skirts were worn with a fine knit sweater proving opposites do attract.

But despite indulging us in nineties nostalgia, they brought it bang up to date with digitalised floral prints. It was definitely one worth watching and one that enticed the likes of Kate Bosworth, Pixie Geldof and One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson to the front row to support this celebrated line from our best beloved high street export where we will be shopping forever more.
