Like many road trip movies the plot of The Guilt Trip – released in UK Cinemas on 1 March – is fairly straightforward. Two people with little in common share a car and travel across the US in each other’s company. The twist here is that it is a mother and son and the mum isn’t exactly the shy and retiring type. From the preview here it looks like a real return to form for Barbra Streisand.
