Lionel Andres Messi was born in June 24 1987 Argentina Rosario, At the age of five, Messi started playing football for Grandoli, a local club coached by his father Jorge At the age of 11, Messi was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency which shorten his growth, while Messi was playing for his father’s team he caught the eye of Spanish giant Barcelona who took Messi in for a trial.
Messi attended the trial and he played good but Barcelona were taking long to decide if they wanted to sign Messi or not but Messi’s father couldn’t wait any longer and wanted to leave but then Barcelona decided to sign him but Messi’s signature was not done on a normal paper it was done on a napkin.
Messi played his first classico against Real Madrid at the age of 19 and Messi’s scored a hat trick which made him the youngest player to score a hat trick against Real Madrid. Messis incredible run as a footballer continued and made him one on the best footballer in history.
