BALOTELLI
Mario Balotelli is an
Italian footballer that now plays for Liverpool from the 21st August
2014, AC Milan (the team that own him before) agreed a £16 million fee for
Balotelli.
Super Mario, that how the fans call him, has
origin from Ghana but he was born in Italy on the 12 August 1990. The Balotelli
name came from his foster family: Francesco and Silvia Balotelli.
He started his career
when he was fifteen. He begin with Lumezzane team with a pre-set price of
€150,000 and played for the first team
twice before having an unsuccessful trial at FC Barcelona, and joining Inter
Milan in 2007. In the November 2008 Super Mario became the
youngest Inter player to score in the Champions League when he scored a goal
Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta.
On 12 August of 2010
Manchester City bought Mario from Inter MIlan for about €21.8 million.
He became really famous
in Italy when he played during the UEFA 2012. On the 10th
June of 2012, Balotelli also became the first black player to appear for Italy
in a major tournament.
